She was a Jersey girl living in Manhattan and working in finance. He was a southern boy trying to make his way in the big city.

It all started with a swipe on Hinge. After some initial back and forth, we agreed to meet in a cute, upscale sports bar a short walk from Rachel's apartment. He was immediately taken with her though he can be a bit of a hard read so she didn't realize the interest was mutual until he texted as soon as he got home to schedule the next date.

Things proceeded steadily after that. A second date at a Halloween Haunted House followed by some deep conversation (and watching some football) turned into a third and a fourth date. After a couple months the writing was on the wall. We met the parents, traveled to Paris, Ocean Isle, Nashville, Mexico, and more. We moved in together a year after we started dating. As soon as he saved up enough for a ring, he popped the question.

Our time together continues to reinforce our desire to be with each other. We're excited to get married. We're excited to get a bigger place and start a family. We're excited to travel the world and chase our dreams. We're looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
